Invisible to Visible: A Walk in the Sandals of Jesus
“To make the invisible visible, walk in the sandals of Jesus. See what He saw. Feel what He felt. Hear what He heard and said. Love the way He loved. Learn the scriptures as Jesus did. This is what it means to walk with God.”
When you walk in His sandals, you don’t just follow— you embody His vision, compassion, and wisdom. Walking with God means transforming the unseen into reality through love, understanding, and faith.
The Gospel Of Thomas: 114 Hidden sayings of Jesus Christ
Introducing the Gospel of Thomas:
Thomas tells us more about the historical Jesus than all of the Dead Sea Scrolls put together. A superb presentation of the most important early Christian text discovered in this century.
Jesus spoke these words: “Become aware of what is directly before you, and that which is concealed will be revealed to you. For nothing remains hidden that will not be made known.”
In this new and exceptional rendition, Marvin Meyer presents a cherished sacred text that has captured the hearts of many. Developed meticulously over the past two decades through multiple iterations, Meyer’s translation of the Gospel of Thomas is poised to be the authoritative version for years to come.
Esteemed by scholars for its inclusion of numerous original sayings attributed to Jesus, The Gospel of Thomas was unearthed in 1945 among the gnostic texts discovered at Nag Hammadi in Upper Egypt. According to accounts, it was supposedly dictated by Jesus to his brother, Judas Thomas the Twin, who went on to establish Eastern churches. Through Thomas, Jesus reveals a profound integration of wisdom from philosophers such as the sophists, Diogenes, Plato, and Socrates.
Sayings of Jesus
Saying 77 “I am the light…”
Gospel of Thomas verse 77.
Jesus said, “I am the light that is over all things. I am all: From me all has come forth, and to me all has reached. Split a piece of wood; I am there. Lift up the stone, and you will find me there.”
John 8:12. Again, therefore, Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I AM the light of the world; he who is following Me will not walk in the darkness, but he will have the light of life.”
Wisdom of Solomon 24. For wisdom is more moving than any motion: she passeth and goeth through all things by reason of her pureness.
25 For she is the breath of the power of God, and a pure influence flowing from the glory of the Almighty: therefore can no defiled thing fall into her.
26 For she is the brightness of the everlasting light, the unspotted mirror of the power of God, and the image of his goodness.
27 And being but one, she can do all things: and remaining in herself, she maketh all things new: and in all ages entering into holy souls, she maketh them friends of God, and prophets.
28 For God loveth none but him that dwelleth with wisdom.
29 For she is more beautiful than the sun, and above all the order of stars: being compared with the light, she is found before it.
30 For after this cometh night: but vice shall not prevail against wisdom.
Romans 11:36. For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.
1 Corinthians 8:6. But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
